The ChristChurch Team

The Eldership Team

Andy Johnston

Andy leads the eldership team at ChristChurch. He is married to Janet
and they have three children.  Both Andy and Janet have a long history in New Frontiers and backgrounds in education. Andy heads up the team and takes on the majority of the teaching for the church with his favorite subjects being God’s abundant grace, the local church….oh and Liverpool FC!  Andy and Janet are slightly competitive and if stranded on an island would probably get by for months with only Scrabble and, if they had a TV, the complete box set of 24!

Paul Tack

Paul is an elder at ChristChurch, and his wife is also called Janet. Both Paul and Janet hail from ‘farming stock’ and have 4 children, 5 cockatils and a cockatoo called Sparky! Paul gives a day a week to work for the church and spends the rest of his working week driving around the UK advising eager listeners about Health and Safety law. It is clear to see that God has given him a considerable pastoral gift that many in the Church have benefited from over the years. He also plays a mean game of badminton .

Chris Williams

The third elder at ChristChurch is Chris, who breaks the trend by marrying someone called Claire ….they have two boys, Zac and Aaron, and a dog called Wilson.  Chris comes from Walsall in the West Midlands and works full time for that small Christian company that deals with copyright licensing in churches.  Chris heads up the worship team for ChristChurch and when not busy can usually be found in one of the many coffee shops around town hiding behind a good book.

Other Team Members

Paul Board

Paul works in the office as church administrator and also acts as Trust Manager for the Hailsham Frontiers Charitable Trust. As well as crunching numbers at Wentworth House Paul keeps his hand in many sports activities such as Cricket, Hockey…and bridge.
